BROOKFIELDS OPEN PLAY WINTER LEAGUE

LEAGUE FORMAT
– Format: 2-Person Scramble Teams
– Handicap System: Tee Box Handicapped
– Regular Season: 10 Rounds
– Scheduling: Play your rounds any day, any time during Brookfields operating hours.
– Round Duration: 2-hour time slot per round
– Score Submission: All rounds submitted through FSCompete
REGISTRATION & PRICING
**ALL PRICING IS PER PLAYER**
STANDARD PLAYERS
– Registration Fee: $200 per player
– Per Round Fee: $40 per player
BROOKFIELDS MEMBERS
– Registration Fee: $100 per player
– Per Round Fee: $20 per player
Registration secures your spot in the league. Per-round fees are paid when you come in to play.
IMPORTANT DATES
– Registration Opens: November 1, 2026
– League Begins: December 1, 2026
– Registration Closes: January 10, 2027
– Playoff Week: February 21–27, 2027
SCORING & STANDINGS
– Teams earn points based on their finishing position for each round.
– Points are awarded on a round-by-round basis throughout the regular season.
– Overall league standings are determined by accumulated points across all 10 rounds.
– All scores must be submitted through FSCompete.
REGULAR SEASON TIEBREAKERS
If teams finish tied in the overall standings:
1. First Tiebreaker: Overall aggregate stroke count across all 10 rounds.
2. Second Tiebreaker: Hole-by-hole comparison if teams remain tied after aggregate stroke count.
**** LEAGUE FLIGHTS******
Depending on the total number of registered teams, the league may be divided into **two flights** to create a more competitive playing field.
PLAYOFFS & CHAMPIONSHIP
Playoff Week: February 21–27, 2027
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top teams will qualify for a championship playoff to determine the **Brookfields Open Play League Champion!**
PLAYOFF QUALIFICATION
– Single Flight: Top 4 teams in the overall standings qualify.
– Two Flights: Top 2 teams from each flight qualify.
– Four qualifying teams advance to the championship playoffs.
PLAYOFF FORMAT
The championship will be played using one of the following formats:
Option 1: 18-Hole Match Play Bracket
– Four qualifying teams enter a single-elimination bracket.
– Semifinal matchups determine the two finalists.
– Winners advance to an 18-hole championship match.
– The final winning team is crowned League Champion.
Option 2: Best-of-3 Match Play Series
– Four qualifying teams (2 from each flight)
– Each matchup is played as a best-of-3 series.
– First team to win two matches in each flight become League Champions
The official playoff format will be confirmed before the postseason begins.
PLAYOFF SCHEDULING
Unlike the regular season, playoff matches will be scheduled between the qualifying teams during championship week.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
– Teams consist of two players.
– All registration and round fees are charged individually, per player.
– Players can schedule regular season rounds on any day and at any available time during operating hours.
– Teams are responsible for scheduling and completing all 10 regular season rounds before the playoffs.
– Each regular season round must be completed within the allotted 2-hour booking window.
– All 10 rounds must be submitted through FSCompete.

No designated league nights during the regular season. Just you, your teammate, and 10 rounds to earn your spot in the championship bracket!
