The Heat is On: Claim Your Spot in Qualifier #3, Our Next Big Golf Simulator Tournament

The summer is blazing outside, but inside the lounge, the virtual fairways are perfectly air-conditioned and the competition is just heating up! We are thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for Qualifier #3, our latest indoor golf simulator tournament here in Wake Forest.

Whether you’ve been grinding all season to protect your leaderboard standing or you’re ready to make a late-summer push, this is your chance to step up to the tee, dial in your numbers, and secure your place in the big show this November.

The Schedule & Format

Qualifier #3 runs from August 1st through August 31st, giving you a full month to lock in your scores and climb the ranks.

  • Round 1: Begins Saturday, August 1st
  • Round 2: Opens August 10th
  • Round 3: Opens August 17th
  • Tournament Finishes: August 31st

We know your summer schedule is packed, which is why our golf simulator tournament format is built for maximum flexibility. You’ll play 3 rounds totaling 27 holes of competitive virtual golf. Each 9-hole round is designed to fit cleanly into a one-hour simulator session, making it easy to swing by after work or hang out with your crew over the weekend.

Hungry while you play? While we don’t have a kitchen, we are completely takeout-friendly! Feel free to bring your own snacks or order delivery right to our lounge—we’ll keep the cold drinks flowing from the bar while you rack up birdies in this golf simulator tournament.

  • Registration: $40 one-time entry fee (due before you start round 1) (An players who played in both Qualifiers 1 AND 2 can register for $20)
  • Round Cost: $20 per 9-hole session (includes 1 hour of premium bay time)

Keeping it Fair: SHIN vs. GHIN

We welcome every level of golfer, from scratch players to casual weekend flyers. To keep the playing field completely level, we use a specialized indoor handicapping system:

  • Returning Players: You will continue to use your established SHIN (Simulator Handicap Index Network), which is explicitly tuned to our high-tech simulator play.
  • New Players: You’ll start off using an adjusted version of your traditional outdoor GHIN. Once you submit 5 tournament scores into our system, you’ll transition to a formal SHIN so the tech perfectly mirrors your indoor game.

At Brookfields Indoor Golf & Lounge, it’s about more than just the scorecard. We’re proud to partner with our local community, and a portion of all registration fees from this golf simulator tournament will directly benefit the Raleigh Testicular Cancer Foundation. Come out, play your best game, and support an incredible local cause while you do it.

What You’re Playing For: The Road to the Major

The stakes have never been higher as we head into the back half of the season. The standalone winner of Qualifier #3 receives an automatic, coveted invitation straight to The Major!

If you don’t take the top spot, don’t sweat it—every single round you play earns you critical points. The top 30 players on our season-long points list (including individual qualifier winners) will advance to the main event.

The updated Major Points List will be posted on the board as soon as Qualifier #2 officially wraps up, so you’ll know exactly where you stand heading into August!

  • The Major Tournament Begins: November 1st
  • The Major Event Day: November 21st
